Let’s be real for a sec.

You love the idea of celebrating. You want to feel special and make people feel special.

But the typical way of planning a party - and the actual celebration?
It feels... off.

The endless to-do lists. The overpriced balloon arches. The Pinterest-perfect “themes” that end up feeling more like you’re performing than actually being present turns an intention that started off so exciting and sweet into an overwhelming pile of stress that has you wishing for some sort of snow day to allow you to cuddle up at home instead of showing up.

Sound familiar?
Good. You’re my people.

You want it to feel right.
You want it to feel good.

You want it to feel true.
You want it to feel like… you.

That’s exactly what we’re doing here.

Welcome to Slow Party Style™ by Potter + Butler

Slow Party Style™ is your permission to plan -and celebrate- differently. To throw out every expectation you thought you had to follow and design a celebration that actually feels good.

Because - let’s be honest. We don’t all fit the traditional party mold. And that’s ok.

Slow Party Style planning starts with how you want to feel (which is where all good things come from, really).
Not with color schemes. Not with trends. Not with pressure.

We plan gently.

We celebrate meaningfully.

We create space for what matters most.

Less waste. More meaning. Way more presence.

Hey! I’m Emily.

Big wedding planner in a past life. Now? Mother, life coach, celebration guide, sentimental party nerd, total introvert.

I’m here to help you ditch the “shoulds,” plan a party that feels like actual joy, and remind you (gently but firmly) that you don’t need 47 matching napkin rings to throw a beautiful celebration.

We’re doing it your way. (But yes, cake is basically required.)
